Don't let this post fool you
There are misadventures to be told but first, I have to tell you how truly beautiful it is here. I'm sitting in Duke's in Wakiki, well shaded, and staring out at palm trees, ocean, and surfers. Now they are mostly people learning to surf because the surf here is very tame so you will have to remove visions of surfers riding a giant barrell. You'll have to go to the North Shore for that.
The food here is not any more expensive than Chicago and probably cheaper than downtown. $9.95 for a chicken ceasar salad. And $5.50 for one of their home brewed beers on tap. The crowd here s decidedly touristy. Families, groups of grey hairs, groups of 20-30 somethings, but not nearly as many young couples as I would have suspected. And not a local in the lot. Half the waitstaff look like teeny boppers. Actually all the waitstaff look like teeny boppers but I can tell that half of the are over 20. I don't know why the other half aren't in school.
Now for the food, the chicken on the ceasar was hot off the grill, tender and full of flavor. Which was good because the salad was fairly flavorless. The Parmesan was fresh grated, a definite plus, but the dressing what there was of it was tasteless. They served what I believe was garlic foccacia bread that looked to good to resist and tasted too good to regret. The young woman at the table ordered a dessert that was bigger than her head. But as I look over it is almost gone. Ice cream cake is what I think it was. It will be two pounds on her thighs that she will compllain about when she gets home from vacation.

In Hawaii
GeoTagged, [N21.28047, E157.82643]
I'm in Hawaii for my friend That Drunk Girl's wedding. I'm staying at the Aqua Wakiki Wave hotel which a small botique-ish hotel. The room is pretty stylish but the view is of a parking garage. But it is a unique parking garage where you pull into an elevator that goes up to your floor then sideways to your space. So pretty cool. I may have to park there just to check it out.
I'm off to find some food. Before driving off to TDG's place for dinner and drinks. Why eat first? Did I mention that there would be drinks? That and I'm starving. Only a $9 sandwich on the plane a few hours ago and dinner isn't for at least 90 minutes.

To make a short story long...
I study SCRABBLE words. Because, at times, I'm a dork. And I have a love for words and language, all languages, always have. Today I was studying 7 letter words that contain 5 vowels. And came across ABOULIA. Aboulia is the lack of will power. It is now the official word of the day and one of my favorite words of all time. For many reasons, but especially because I am currently, as always complete aboullic. My friends will attest to this. It is quite well known that I have the world's most twistable arm.
I worked night shift last night, finishing up about 7:30am, then working out, then signing up for some crazy fitness challenge at work, then studying insane words, then finally getting to bed about 10:30 and falling asleep around 11ish. Then woke up at 3:30, late to pick up my daughter, Monkey.
Will skip the Monkey part for now. I dropped her off about 7:30pm and headed home with the only thought of being in bed by 9pm as I have to be at work again at 7am. But the gods conspire against me, and as I am in my car driving home dream of sleep my phone rings. It is Horsecock. One of my good friends who is also quite possibly the devil himself. Hanging out with horsecock is always an adventure, but rarely wise. I answer the phone, "I swear you have the ability to know when I am weak. You are the ultimate predator, able to sense when someone is weak and susceptible to attack". "So, I take it you are weak?" I am always weak. But today especially, although I am tired, which makes my arm more twistable, I am also bored with life. You can almost hear the twisting. Of course Horsecock has a sweet at one of the hipper hotels in Chicago, comped by work naturally, on one of the warmest days of the year so far. And this hotel just happens to have a bar on the roof. Oh, my poor arm.
So I am off to my doom, with a smile on my face. I took time to write this because it was easier than sending a text to those who need to know. You know who you are. Call me at 5:45 and yell at me to get into my car. Once I find it of course.
Good night and good luck.

Happy Green Day To You
I hope your St. Patrick's Day is joyous and worthy of a blog post. I however will be working. I expect all sorts of recockulous drunks to end up in my ER by night's end. I just hope they are amusing and cute. I'm not in the mood for obnoxious tonight.
Good night and good luck

In the meantime
I had a great time last night, but my body apparently got hit by a truck. Even now I feel a bit dodgy. I was going to write about it but I am going to watch movies at Philarican's house. I told her I'd be there in 20 minutes about 25 min ago so I must go now and post later.
We are going to watch Amadeus.
We are going to watch Amadeus.

Seriously,
I'm about to talk about LOST. So if you haven't seen the most recent episode please go watch it now at abc.com and come back. We'll wait.
So now that we're all back together I'd like to say what everyone has been thinking. "What the fuck is going on?" Now this isn't the normal LOST what the fuck is going one that we felt during the first, and possibly the second and third seasons. No, this is why are these people ruining my life and making the past five years of my life pointless.
Now this week's episode was the best so far, but last week's episode had me wanting to poke my eyes out. The Sayid episode was quite painful. Maybe it got us where we wanted to go but it was painful to get through. It also had me shouting something I've shouted at the screen before, "Will someone please kill Ben Linus already!" Now this week's episode made us feel a little sorry for him but I'm pretty sure we would all be better off without him. I did feel we were moving forward with this episode. We may not have any answers yet but I at least feel we are getting closer. And although the style of the end of the episode was a little annoying it was signaling that we were going back to the beginning in more than one way and hopefully getting back to basics.
So I'm hopeful again for the first time in 6 weeks. Let's hope they keep it up.

Where do they all come from?
I'm apparently getting a whole lot of traffic on my site but my sitemeter is on the fritz. So I don't know why or from where all the traffic is coming from. I promise happier and more interesting posts soon. And I plan on getting my sitemeter working again, but in the meantime if you don't mind telling me in the comments how you found my site I'd appreciate it.
Test, Testing, Test One
It was a dark and stormy night. I'm wondering if I can post more blog posts if I dictate of questioning something to say before I dictate that way I can Matieson bumpers for right now I'm tired and want you can what the hell is this sometimes it dictates correctly sometimes it. Believe that I don't know if it's easier if I talk faster or do I talk slow are but it's all just got a nonsense and I just want something that works correctly. Thank you
I'm posting this without corrections are some Kisumu stuff is by time I read it I don't remember what it was supposed to say two I want you to know what this looks like this is done by dragon dictation for the iPhone and I hope that eventually it records everything correctly I think most of the contract worker somebody correct words are to do to Ingco audible pauses so I tried to do only inaudible pauses to see if that works better.
If it is 8:49 PM on Wednesday, December 22 freeze for Christmas 2009 and I am just wasting time because I want to work. Does anyone really wanted to work. I don't know I suppose this couple I currently not one of them Somersalmi job that I actually enjoy anyone knows about any of those please let
