The origin

Apparently not everyone spends as much time on the web as I do. There is apparently a type of music where they just sing the melody and do not use any words. The following video is an example of that and went viral on the web a few months ago. It has since shown up in remixes and many different forms including the robot head I posted yesterday.

Enjoy.

Update

I can't believe it's been a week. But I'm here to tell you that things got better. After paying my tIckets I called a cab which arrived in under 5 minutes and it was driven not just by a female can driver but an attractive female cab driver. Finding a young cute female cab driver in the city of Chicago is about as rare as getting a real diamond ring in a box of Cracker Jack. And she was intelligent and fun to talk to and married. So the story doesn't end as well as it could have but at least I had a great cab ride.

An hour later my brother called me back and was willing to let me use his car, so I got to work only 3 hours late but the hours were covered and alll was right with the world.

Thank you for all the comments. I do want to reply to some of them. As for paying my bills on time, since he beginning of the year my hours were cut and I am making $800-$1200 less a month (yes I am working on getting another job). If anyone out there is able to live on $1200 less a month please contact me privately and I will tell you where to send the money.

As for avoiding parking tickets,

my neighbor used to live in chicago and he said parking tickets were almost a daily issue. He mentioned the amount of money he paid for said tickets and I was blown away - I thought maybe it was his fault and he deserved it.. but - he never gets any parking tickets here in Austin. Chicago must just love to hand them out.
I hope your luck has tuned around.

Yes, avoiding parking tickets in Chicago is like avoiding smog in LA or avoiding rude people in NYC, pert near impossible.

Good Night and Good Luck.

If I didn't have any bad luck....

I wouldn't have any luck at all.

So I've been working on a deficit for 4 months now and I can barely pay for food some extras have fallen by the wayside. Like parking tickets for example. I paid a $240 parking ticket last month and have 3 parking tickets left to pay. I got paid today and the first thing I did was pay my rent the second thing I did was make a note to pay my parking tickets on line as soon as I get to work.

I took a shower, shaved, got dressed, packed up all my stuff and left the house. On time I may add. And walked out to my car to find a beautiful yellow boot on my car.

So now I'm standing in line at a City of Chicago revenue office waiting to pay my tickets. And a boot fee. And then pay a cab to get back home so I can sit on my porch and wait for them to remove the boot.

The only good news is that I managed to find someone to cover my first few hours at work.

I will try to keep you updated on the calamity that is my life.

Good Night and Good Luck
